How To: Record An MP3 Audio File Using iPad Or iPhoneApril 9, 2016
Below you will find an app and instructions for recording an MP3 file on an iPad or iPhone, but you’ve landed on a site whose primary goal is to help people change negative life patterns. If that is something you would like to try, consider reading more about our self-education program and sign-up for a free trial: Secure Nest for Individuals
On Secure Nest therapists and clients have the ability to upload files (an individual file can be attached to a Homework exercise and My Files can be used for general storage). This functionality can be used for a variety of purposes, for example a therapist could upload an audio flashcard for their client. For security reasons and to avoid compatibility issues between users with different devices we have limited the file types that you can upload. For example we allow you to upload MP3 or WAV files (different types of audio files), but don’t allow M4A as it’s not widely compatible with all devices. One issue with limiting M4A is that Apple devices such as the iPhone and iPad would typically record audio using this file type by default.
You can record an MP3 audio file on your iPad or iPhone (which can be uploaded to Secure Nest), but you will need a free app to do so. You can download ‘ Voice Record Pro ‘ from the App Store, then:
In the a mp3 download
Ensure the ‘Advanced’ tab is selected
Record Format should be set to ‘MP3 (MPEG)’
When the recording is finished press ‘Stop’
Choose an option for storing and saving the file
You can then upload your recorded MP3 file to Secure Nest
We hope you found this guide informative, please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions about functionality or working with Secure Nest.
